Full House Thanksgiving (3)
With Grandma and Grandpa, Jen, Jeremy, Harrison and Emma, we had loads of folks in our house for Thanksgiving. We had a great time cooking, feasting, puzzling, and herding children.

We started with a nice meal on Jen and the kids first day. Grandpa made some fantastic breaded pork chops. I made some pumpkin gnocchi in a brown butter sage sauce.

Thanksgiving started early with the traditional making of the stuffing. Most of us got the turkey prepped, while Grandma and Grandpa slept in.

Later Grandpa got attacked. In fact he spent the good portion of the week being climbed on and wrestled with.

Karen makes an impressive turkey every year, just don’t let her talk you into making turkey stock.

Jeremy gets put to work when he visits. On this trip he fixed the orientation of our kitchen faucets (they have been slightly off since we moved in back in 2001). He and I also replace a phone line to the kitchen phone. This involved Jeremy squeezing between the 1st floor and the 2nd floor of the house. (Yes, it is a tight fit!) We also installed hooks around the house and hung Christmas lights.

Everyone enjoys the Fort Worth Zoo!

Sophia and Emma had a great time together. This shot is from the arboretum. The Dallas Arboretum has these interesting tree houses on display. There are more shots from that visit on Flickr.

Finally a great family shot that Jeremy took for us.
Thanks to everyone for a great Thanksgiving!

Thank you so much for hosting us. We had a great time. In fact, I wish we were still there. It has been VERY cold here.
Thanks for all the great food and hospitality - it was greatly appreciated by all of us.
It has been hard coming back to reality - I wish we could have stayed in denial for a while longer.
By the way, did you have to post that picture of me under the sink?! You should have taken on in the attic :)
Thanks again. See you soon.

Jeremy did that same thing at my house, only he wasn't wearing his thong :)

Jeremy, I couldn't fit the camera into the space in the attic (I'm still amazed you got in AND back out). But like Mac says, you're a snazzy dresser!
