Playroom (3)
After several weekends of work, Karen and I finished the molding in the playroom and on the staircase. This means that after 6 years (we moved back in the day before Thanksgiving 2001), that all of the bare wood in the house is painted!!!
The images below are rollovers. Simply place your mouse on top of the picture to see the final result. (These aren't perfect, but close enough for government work...)

We still have several doors to paint, a bit of work in the laundry and girl's bath, and the insides of the closets (Ughhh), but the majority of the work is complete.

Now I get to begin constructing the workbench I have wanted for the last 4 years. (Of course, having an organized shop might have come in handy over the last couple of years, but don't tell the wifely unit that.)

The stairs were the hardest part. Not only did the window need to be painted, but none of the walls had been cut-in, and there were nails popping out of the ceiling, that needed to be replaced with drywall screws. I dislike heights and had to build a special contaption to use the ladder on the staircase.
