Sophia Gets Soaked
We finally received a break from the heat and drought. Sophia woke up to the rain and put on her boots and raincoat. "I want to go splash in some puddles!"
Off we went.
You Must Catch at Least One Raindrop!
The night before the girls ran around outside while Karen and I relaxed after a hard day of painting. The girls were "name twins."
The were both named Samantha. "Come on Samantha, let's go down the slide."
I asked if I could be a twin. Sophia balked at first, saying I was a boy, but reluctantly allowed for a third Samantha.
The Day's End
She told me that there were some requirements to being a twin. I had to act like they did and do the things that they did. For instance, I had to pretend that I had recently lost a tooth. I was also informed that the Samantha's did not speak "Fashion."
What is fashion? I knew it was a language, but what kind of language? Sophia and I had discussed languages when she started school (see "English" Exchange). Sophia took on a prissy pose and said, "Oh I'm so pretty. Look at me! (pause) That's fashion, and we don't speak fashion."
My time as a Samantha was short-lived. I am a much better tickle monster, anyway...
