"Grace Alone..." (1)
Karen and I officially joined our new church home today. Cornerstone is the contemporary worship at Highland Park United Methodist Church. We have been attending since late April and been excited about everything God has been doing in our lives.
It had been a number of years since we had attended a church regularly. After we received a thought provoking postcard about proverbs, we decided to give Cornerstone a try. Each week the music has been dynamic and the message moving. The flash open on the website says it all, "Bible + Brain = Cornerstone." I like the fact that I don't have to check my intelligence at the door on Sunday.
It was also great to have Grandma and Grandpa in town for this special day!

I would love to hear the full story sometime - God is amazing how He uses the smallest things but knows how to reach us right where we are at when we are ready to listen. So happy you found such a great church "home" as you called it. That can be hard to find! We look forward to coming with you sometime Love Tom and Margie
