Bedrooms Upstairs (1)

Notice the bare wood around the windows. What you can't see is the sorry state of the baseboards that I put in last year. Karen and I finished with the painting of all of the woodwork downstairs last fall (minus a couple of doors). We finally began work on the upstairs about a month ago.

In four weekends we finished the guest room and the girls' room. We have puttied and sanded all of the baseboards and molding. We have sanded and caulked (did I mention that I despise prep work?) and fixed any sheetrock issues, (places where workers cut holes a little too big for outlets or replacing popping nails with screws when screws should have been used in the first place).

I added the top to all of the baseboards and we pulled and painted doors as well. Now that both rooms are finished we have the playroom, the laundry, the window above the staircase (which will all have to be done from the comfort of a ladder), and 3 doors.
