"I Think I Saw a Firefly!" (0)
We finally got to fire up the grill last night and enjoy a beautiful evening dining on the deck. The burgers were the best over the last year or so; cooked to perfection and spiced just right. (I also managed to burn a load of buns while not paying attention…)
The girls sat at their little picnic table in the grass while Karen and I enjoyed a slight bit of quiet at the adult table. Sophia claimed to see a firefly, but I think it was just a bug flying through one of the garden lights. It’s too early for those.
The weather last night was nearly perfect. Today it is cold and soon to be raining. With storms pushing through all weekend, we got to enjoy an evening outdoors at just the right time.
