Fairies in the Garden (2)

I took a few pictures last Saturday of Sophia and Barrett dressed up and dancing around.
Unfortunately, my camera does poorly in low-light situations. The flash results in pictures that are unappealing especially when compared to pictures taken with my film camera.
Even though the photos are blurred, I think it adds a bit to the magic of these two silly fairies.

Rich, I think you should get a tripod, wait for the right light, and try to recreate those bottom shots. The idea is fantastic. I love the photo with the steps leading to the gate in the hedge. With a little planning and a little cooperation from the girls, you could have a real winner there.

It's a good idea to re-shoot these. When I do, I'll use the D70 we have at the office. I'm sure it does better in low-light than mine. I'm not sure a tripod would have helped that much the night I took these-- the girls were pretty wound up! I will use one with the D70 and post the results.
