The All-Important Hallway (0)

Haven't you ever wanted to say to yourself, "The house is a wreck, but at least the hallway is finished?" This weekend we moved a step closer to being able to utter those precious words.

Because of contractor foolishness, all of the sheetrock (and trim work) in the lower part of our home had to be replaced when we added the second floor to our home. We didn't have them paint the trim for two reasons: trust and money. We didn't trust them to do a good job, and we didn't really have the money to spend on it. Plus as a seasoned DIY-er, I knew we could do it correctly. I just didn't realize how much a newborn would cramp my remodeling style.

So we basically need to take this:
Nothing Like Raw Wood!

And make it look like this:
Kitchen Trim

Hallway Under Construction

...and then everywhere else in the house. After the hallway is completed this week, that will bring out total of rooms with finished trim to three (kitchen and sunroom)!
